Hapé is a powerful Tobacco based medicine, originating from the Amazonian rainforest some 5,000 years ago and highly revered as a Master Plant. Traditionally used in a ceremonial setting for cleaning of the body & mind. Hapé helps to clear the sinuses along with any energetic blockages, attributing to a feeling of calmness, opening the door for a peaceful meditative state. The core of this plant medicine is known as Nicotina Rustica, containing powerful neuroprotective anti-cancer properties known as Harmala Alkaloids. These alkaloids are naturally anti-depressive, whilst also stimulating and focusing. What’s unique about Tobacco, is it both grounds and stimulates. The contradictory nature of Hapé is what makes it such a potent medicine. In this workshop, I will speak about the application of Hapé, how to hold ceremonial space intentionally, followed by a guided meditation, sound healing & medicine songs.
